Projet Fiondo was founded on our conviction that lasting social change can be achieved through local empowerment, access to education, and inclusive economic opportunity.
Our mission is to improve food security, educational outcomes, health, and economic resilience of Mande and other communities in Lomami Province through a phased community-led development initiative.

Projet Fiondo’s objectives include:
PHASE ONE:
Increase agricultural productivity and food security for smallholder farmers
Better yields directly improve household food availability and income, forming the foundation for better nutrition, education, and resilience.
Strengthen local institutions and leadership for sustainable development
A community-centred development approach ensures the community identifies and mobilizes its existing assets, skills, and connections for long-term resilience, and beyond any potential external funding sources.
PHASE TWO
Improve access to quality education and vocational skills for children, youth, and women
Education and skills development are essential for long-term poverty reduction and economic diversification.
Enhance household income and economic resilience through market access and income-generating activities
Diversified and stable incomes reduce vulnerability to climate disasters and economic turbulence.
PHASE THREE
Strengthen community health, nutrition, and preventive practices
Healthy individuals are more productive, learn better, and are more resilient.
